I'm 43 and have had probably 5 to 6 Black&Decker coffee pots throughout my coffee-swilling life and this is a great coffee pot, so far.

Gets used every day and have had no issues.

I did, however run water through it 3 times just to remove any manufacturing debris (but I do that with every new pot).

The only thing that I do not like about it is the fact that it seems to "click" on a constant basis after the pot has brewed.

Loud enough to be noticed.

Now if it did this to notify you of the power turning off, that would be great, but that is not the case.

Because of the clicking, I removed 1 star. If that didn't happen, this would get all 5 from me.



This is a great item.

Hot, great tasting coffee.

Looks good too.

Best if all the carafe design enables men to pour coffee from the pot into mug morning, noon and night.

    Hi Dolor
    Your experience with this brand of coffee maker says it all. If they were no good, you would not use them.
    This price seems attractive, and is worth looking into. If you live in the US, it is definitely worth considering.
    The noises you hear are probably just hot parts cooling down, nothing to worry about. All things that have been hot, then cool down, will contract and can cause noises.
